Premium Barista Course

THE MOBILE BARISTA BUS IS COMING TO NCLC

3 HOUR COURSE – 6.30pm to 9.30pm

$110.00 

Every month we are excited to offer our clients a Barista course that will make you a job ready barista.

The course is based upon the nationally accredited unit of competency SITHFAB005 Prepare & Serve Espresso Coffee, students receive a certificate of participation upon completion of all competencies. Learn to make classic espresso styles, Make 25 – 30 coffees each. Milk texturing , troubleshooting, history, Grind adjustment & dosing, OHS, seasoning machines, coffee types & terminology & latte art for beginners!

The course is provided by RSA for Schools.

NEW COURSE TERM 3

BASIC ADMINISTRATION SKILLS

This course is designed for people who want to develop entry level office skills.  It is suitable for those entering the workforce, retraining, and those who are changing their career path.  Ideal for administration work in community organisations. This course includes developing telephone skills,   customer service and computer skills

Duration: 9 weeks – 2 sessions per week

Day/Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays from July 24th to September 20th, 2018

Fee:  $210.00 ($160.00 concession), includes materials.

COMPUTER FOUNDATION SKILLS

This course provides the entry level knowledge and skills required required to perform the basic functions on a personal computer in a vocational environment.  It is designed to give you the fundamental foundation skills needed to operate a personal computer with confidence at the workplace.

Introduction & Basic Skill Level 1

Duration: 8 sessions

Day/Time: Tuesday 24th July:  4pm to 6pm

Cost:  $214.00 ($50.00 concession)

Basic Skill Level 2

Duration: 8 sessions

Day/Time: Wednesday 25th July –  7pm to 9pm

MS WORD 2013 & MS EXCEL 2013
This course will teach you the basics of MS Word 2013 and MS Excel 2013.

Word 2013 

You will learn to create documents, work with documents and text.  Display documents, formatting techniques, page layout, clip art, printing and mail merge.

Excel 2013

You will learn how to navigate your way around Excel, create and work with workbooks, cells and ranges, formulas and functions, sort and filter data, print your worksheet and create charts.

Duration:  4 sessions

Day/Time: 23rd, 26th, 30th July, 2nd August

Cost:  $250.00 plus materials

MS EXCEL LEVEL 1 & 2

Level 1: You will learn how to navigate your way around Excel, create and work with workbooks, cells and ranges, formulas and functions, sort and filter data, print your worksheet and create charts.

Dates & Times:  8th & 11th October

Level 2: You will learn filling and page set up techniques, worksheet functions, defined names, number formatting techniques goal seek, quick analysis tools and pivot tables.

Dates & Times:  15th & 18th October

Duration:  4 sessions

Day/Time: 6.00pm to 9.00pm

Cost:  $180.00 plus materials
